My name is Kaltum Mohammad and I cook and serve authentic Sudanese cuisine through catering, farmer’s markets, and a food truck. I spent years cooking in a refugee camp in Egypt after escaping
violence in Sudan and am passionate about bringing my food to the people of Utah.
Providing high quality food with top ingredients is my priority. The grant money will allow me to scale-up my business without compromising quality by installing a hood ventilation and fire suppression
system. These necessary additions will allow continuous cooking on my truck while serving the increasing demand for my food.
