Grant Competition Process

The Women’s Entrepreneurial Conference Grant Competition helps Utah women business owners state-wide to access critical funding needed to grow their business. This year, 25 grants totaling over $25,000 will be awarded to a total of 24 quarter, semi-finalist and finalists, each ranging from $300-$5,000.

The competition is comprised of:

Application Phase:
Entrants will submit their grant application with details including their personal and company information, their specific use of funds for the grant and most importantly, how the grant would impact their business.

Quarter & Semi Finals:
24 quarter finalists and subsequently 12 semi finalists will be announced and given instructions on their 3 minute pitch presentations. Training and mentorship will be provided at each stage of the competition.

Conference & Grant Competition:
5 finalists will be chosen to present their business at the grant conference. The final pitch is also 3 minutes + Q&A from the judges and audience.

Applications open Dec. 1st – Jan 31st each year (apply by 11:59 p.m. January 31st to be eligible)
