Our 2021 Event:

The WEC Planning Committee is proud to host the Women’s Entrepreneurial Conference virtually on Wednesday, April 21st from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This year’s theme, Measuring and Sustaining the Health & Wellness of You and Your Business will provide a variety of breakout sessions to inspire entrepreneurs in any stage of business. The morning and afternoon Grant competition sessions are no cost presented by our sponsors Chase Bank, American Express, Mountain West Small Business Finance and the Salt Lake Community College Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Program. The main sessions will feature presentations on the Importance of Continued Learning (morning), Understanding the Generations to Promote Cultural Wellness (lunch) and the WEC Grant Final Competition (afternoon).

Besides the main sessions, the Conference will include 2 Breakout Sessions (1 hour each with a choice of 3 topics) and one Main Panel. The topics are based on the stage of your business: 0-3 years, 2-5 years and 5 years plus.

In 2019, the WEC plans to award 6 finalist Grants to Utah Women Business Owners through it’s Pitch Competition at the Women’s Entrepreneurial Conference on Wednesday, April 17th at Holladay City Hall.

This year, the WEC Committee is giving out 25 grants total ranging from $ 250 – $ 5,000. In addition to the grant competition, we will have learning opportunities for all attendees at some great breakout sessions through the day. There is networking and a delicious lunch and sponsor booths with resources for you!
